The midfield options v PSG last year in away leg was a tired/old Gundogan, Roberto, barely fit FDJ and barely fit Pedri.

Xavi opted not even to take them on in that battle and decided Vitinha would get a lot of ball at expense of trying to stop the wide players and hit them on break.

True,
The only team that have beaten Inzaghi's Inter in a double-leg tie the last years is Pathetico and Simeone last season through hard shithousery
And that was pure luck.

Inter don't rely on luck.

It's purely tactical and intentionally watertight even if you dislike their style of play. Inter are actually good.

Felt PSG had the second leg even without the red.

Xavi just didn't have the offensive ability as a coach, to do things any other way.

Shame about the red though because Lamine cooked Nuno Mendes for the goal and was our best attacker before being subbed. Salah could only dream of doing that.

They had a slim chances without the red.

They have also not beaten a top team in a two legged tie in past couple years as of yet.

Milan is about the best they have beaten in KO stages in last 4 CLs.

Now that my team is out, I'll root for Inter.

Always had a soft spot for them since the treble and love their kits. Both the Milan clubs are very likeable.

I like Inzaghi and Emery.

Have beaten Arsenal this season in the group, drew at Etihad and were better than City, previous seasons they had ridiculed Xavi's Barca.

but, true, not yet on a two-legged tie
let's see them beating Bayern now

Atletico beating them was not pure luck lol. Was a very competitive tie that each side could have won. Atletico Inter xG was 2.69 vs 1.54. Atletico dominated them on Metropolitano.

All i saw that they were chasing rabbits, especially in second half. Szoboslai was on more then two or three ocassions exploiting the area that was uncovered by them and by pure luck and non creativity that liverpool players have they didnt concede.
They press up and play similar as gavi, pressing following while leaving acres of space. In posession they are decent, without posession they are naive.
They had luck this game because it was liverpool's atrocious mf's they were against, i wonder what would happen when bellingham would get behind their back on that much ocassions.

Bellingham would destroy them.

It is games like this, when you realise how tough it is to do what Bellingham does.

If Bellingham was a Liverpool player today, he scores. It's that simple.
