Real Madrid have a culture and a legacy. Players and managers are expected to live up to that. Meanwhile we pay HUGE wages to overrated chumps like De Jong and Lewandoski.
They've left us so far behind it's not funny . They clearly instil the idea that it's an honour to play for Madrid while our guys look soft and think they ate entitled to huge wages.
That's great, now go support them instead

would be silly if Bellingham wins the BdO. Messi at almost 40 is still way better.

Anyhow they should have let the play continue on when Bayern equalized instead of raising the offside flag. Looked very close.

I need another CL Clasico to see if Barca shit themselves at the same rate as the other teams vs Madrid in CL. 2011 one is not relevant.

I mean, he is right, this is just Madrid's competition.
We have a long way to go to learn from them and match their resilience and overall management of their club.
We won't. Neither will Bayern or Pool or whoever else at this point. I'm a firm believer in the impact of psychology in high leverage games.

The mental weight of facing a 14 time champion does half the job for RM, where even randoms like Joselu score a brace against Bayern and Manuel Fucking Neuer in the last mins of a CL SF.

agree, this is the reason why city took so long to win the cl although they were most of the seasons the best team in the world playing-wise

Dawg, there isn't a team on the planet who would be scared of playing Barca in the CL, especially Madrid lol.

I kind of lost interest in football, Barca missed their chance to win a couple more CLs and in the process let Madrid win what is about to be six CLs, completely wiping out the rijkaard/pep/enrique legacy, it was all a waste of time

It could be decades before Barca wins a CL again

It's a lot more than that imo. The 2nd term of Florentino has some kind of presidential greatness to it.

How does RM winning 5-6 CLs wipe out the 4 CLs and 8 LLs (including 4 European doubles and 2 trebles) won by that trio in 10-11 years?

Both are historic achievements.

Curious to know what else. I don't think talent is their decided edge. Barca and even Bayern have had highly talented rosters, some even more than RM's in the past 10-15 years and dropped the ball in the CL. It's not style of play either because Bayern and Pool play similar, pragmatic, counter attacking football and RM has OWNED them in the last 10 years of KO football.
