Chelsea always finds ways to win some trophies, they will do okay, maybe not the league title, but we`ll see.

Yeah, there are only a few titles on the table and so many teams, so... not easy to keep winning at a good rate. Especially looking at the field in EPL.

Leagues usually require a good team that is consistent and has good sub options with an effective formation that works well against most teams, while a cup requires lots of tactics and manager interference a d mind games in comparison to a league.

League = consistent team

Cup = genius manager

Sucks to be Arsenal, they are the biggest club in London, but have to see their city-rival increasing the gap between them, 2 CL lead.

Arsenal are the biggest joke in England .. a delusional club that think they are something when in reality they are absolutely utter garbage

I thought the final in general was void of many clear cut chances, Chelsea were more determined though and individually players had a better night. Finals containing two teams from the same country are always a bit of a letdown for me.

The all Madrid final in 16
Milan Juve in 03
Liverpool Spurs 19.

All of them were pretty boring games that never really got going.

Trrue. Chelsea strikes as the team who can win competitions without being especially good. When they were really good, they were "bottling" more.

Curious now if Chelsea is gonna challenge for the title in England or they will be more like a Cup team.

Imo, they are way behind City over 38 rounds.
Pep knows tricks for league championships.
Tuchel needs to learn a lot in EPL.

In KO matches, a different story.

League = technique, good subs
Cups = technique, leaders, hunger, clutch players, mental strength

Imo, you can totally survive without mental strength in league, as long as you are technically superior.

Yeah, sorry, but when I think about this Chelsea it's technique first and foremost. Like City.

City has nothing exciting about it for me personally other that the youngsters like Foden .. but overall they play extremely repetitive plays over and over again it was boring. Chelsea on the other hand is a young team with exciting german players and likeable players like Kante and Silva .. sad for Pep but happy for Chelsea. The better team today and the better manager today won.

Nothing, you are totally right.

The way i saw it, Chelsea already won the CL so that battle was lost a while ago, at least they could delay City from winning it for a while longer, which they did.

So, no winner out of this, but at least we get to laugh at City for a while longer.

In a way yes. Same with PSG.

Chelsea was still a better club than City prior their both takeovers. City are actually the worst from all three oil clubs. PSG was an important team in France, Chelsea was around Spurs level, so still good. City is a nothing club, prior heavy investment they were merely around Burnley level. Glad they didn't won the CL this year too. As i've said earlier, Pep had decayed in my eyes massively after taking the City job.
