Too much optimism, where is the real Temptation ?
I'm not pessimistic. Those Premier League match comments were jinx attempts.
I try to be pragmatic and reasonable

What a surprise that the Barca hater tries to convince us that beating a:
Juve 14/15, Italian Champions, one game from treble (only team to beat RM in a CL KO tie in 5 years between 2014 and 2018)
Pep's Bayern
PSG (one of the stronger PSG sides of the last 10 years after 17/18 and 16/17)
City (league champions)
is "not a particularly tough one".
Shameless.

This is a reach. Any fan would want what he's saying tbh.
Wrong as usual. City in 14/15 weren't a difficult team and Pep's Bayern then was very strong but not elite due to the injuries they had and slightly weaker squad that season.
Barca 14/15 really has no place among most difficult CL paths. It wasn't an easy one like Madrid 15/16 or Liverpool this season but not much tougher than average.
Madrid 16-17 had a similar level of opposition.
Let's hear some score predictions then. We're close enough now!

Salah to get injured in the 1st half, Benzema scores a goal after pressuring Alisson and Bale to score 2 goals.

Madrid by 1 goal. Probably in extra time too.
Yeah, that's probably my prediction as well
I am just not sold on Liverpool vs serious opponents this season. Bascallly drew vs Chlsea 4 times, and vs City 2 times, most of the time looking like 2nd best team out there.
Looked impressive vs City's 2nd string team, and even then for one half only.
