Lol, PSG would be one of the worst draws for us. Their attack is like a perfect collection of the kind of players we struggle the most against.

They will find a way to fail and their midfield is average, as is their defense.

We beat both bayern and juve in 2015. We beat atletico constantly in the league and that would be no different if those champions league games came at better times. The last time we got knocked out by atletico and juve msn were just back from tough conmebol world cup qualifiers. Normally we would beat both those teams more often than not

since pep, barca went out of CL vs teams like inter, chelsea, bayern, atletico 2 times, juve, roma (ok, that was unexpected), you dont see any connection here? you cant putt all on bad luck and referees, there exists clear pattern why barca fails vs such teams. But you rather use that 2015 season as a example, all those years of failure in CL before and after 2015 doesnt matter ? 2015 season, barca actually played more direct football then we were used to see watching barca, they could counter attack, that was unusual for barca team, lucho was even criticized because he didnt want to keep the ball to long in midfield. All this is showing how just and only possession football doesnt do great in such competition, watch pep since he left barca and how he is doing in that competition, mixture of possession, direct play if needed and being capable of counter attacking, defending as a team, is the way to go in that competition and that will bring more glory

get past lyon 1st, what happened to real can happen to barca. Barcelona does not have away goals also, need to be careful. Running behind an away goal is not easy if you concede 1st.

So you are basically agreeing that their midfield is NOT ok :)

What's wrong with it? Alves is Lahm. Di Maria is a top player as CM/CAM. Marquinhos has gone up to top5 DMs in the world this year. Verratti had his own learning curve as a star midfielder and came through quite a bit this season too. They work well as a unit against all oppositions. So what's wrong with it?

VAR fucking sucks. scoring an amazing goal, celebrating then waiting 3-4mins to get a decision really kills the excitement imo. should only be used on tight offsides/penalty appeals. ridiculous that linesmen are relying on VAR for potential throw ins during the build up of a goal

exactly. decision took so long that by the time the goal was allowed I didn't even care about it anymore. I'm also yet to hear any explanation how far back the incident can be to be questioned... if it's the entirety of the play (i.e. since the last interruption of gameplay as an out or foul etc) that could be minutes!

I for one'd abolish var entirely (for multiple reasons), but at least it should be limited to the very play leading to the goal and not include shit that didn't even happen in the conceding team's half of the pitch!

With respect, you not caring is irrelevant. Correct decision and decreasing human error in the game is paramount. Otherwise you have ZERO right to moan about any referee decision ever.

won 40 euros with Ajax, tonight i bet on ManU and Roma wins, both roma and manU will not lose.

PSG decided to put in an handicap by playing Areola today.
Good mentality to keep pushing the academy players but he will not be world class and has bad luck.

You are a much braver man than me. Uniteds line up tonight will be - DDG, Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw, McTominay, Perriera, Fred, Dalot, Lukaku, Rashford.

I would save you money haha
