RM won't win the CL this season anyway so them going through or not matters little in the bigger picture.

Ajax won't have a chance of eliminating them. It's Ajax. An extremely young version moreover with everything this entails of naivity, childish mistakes, not being able to close games, erratic play, missing way too many chances at the biggest stage as in the first game that they should have won clearly but did not do so due to the above mentioned reasons.

It's an Ajax team that individually is nowhere near even this mediocre RM team. An Ajax team that is doing worse in the Eredivisie (a very mediocre league) than PSV.

No way is RM going out tonight. You will be in for a big disappointment if you expect them to win and eliminate RM away from home with 1-2 down.

Obviously I hope that you are wrong but don't count on it.

Glad to be wrong (for once, lol) in regards to RM and Ajax tonight but happy to have been right about RM not winning the CL this year. Missed the game entirely due to a successful date (lol) but received countless of messages while the game was on and I could hardly believe the updates or final result. Heard that Valdano, Cañizares and the recently fired Álvaro Benito looked like mummies during and after the Movistar coverage of the game.

Has to be the worst 6 days for RM since I recall. Or for any club for that matter. To loss 0-3 at home against your eternal rivals and get kicked out of the CdR, later to lose against the same eternal rival in the league at home (and basically say goodbye to the league title definitely with 12 rounds left and with a 12 point disadvantage to the same eternal rival), while at the same time being beaten by the same eternal rival in the all-time head to head El Clásico statistic (96-95) later to suffer a humiliating 1-4 defeat against a young and naive Ajax team (with all due respect to them they would have little chance of qualifying against most of the remaining teams in the CL) at home once again no less, that has shown nothing in Europe for almost 15 years and that 1.5 years ago went out against the Norwegian Rosenborg team with freaking Bendtner in the team if I am not wrong.

Hilarious. Just a shame that this RM team won the CL last year and in the 2015-16 season when they were far from being the best team and were outplayed numerous times, had insane refereeing luck and luck in general. Luckily this absurdity ended. A great injustice anyway and I don't really care about this RM exit if we can't take advantage of it and win the CL this season. Nothing less will satisfy me after 3 horrible years in the CL where we "gifted" the CL to RM each single time by not even challenging.

VAR, no CL. Let us hope that this continues for some years. Or better a few decades.

BTW, so FDJ impressed expect for a silly giveaway a few minutes before the game ended? How about MDL? Did he impress or did he not have much to do?

United barely have enough players for the first 11, i wouldnt worry about them.

Stranger things have happened. Like seeing your team comfortably win 3 0 at la Coruna then see the coach substituing your playmakers at 50 min mark and concede 4 goals from headers. 3 of them of Pandiani.

Lyon, then Tottenham, Roma, or even Ajax next pls. PSG wouldn't be bad either.

Lol, PSG would be one of the worst draws for us. Their attack is like a perfect collection of the kind of players we struggle the most against.

This result blows the CL wide open this year. Madrid were invincible in the tournament these last years- especially to any opposition not named Barcelona. I really think our two results in the Bernabeu influenced this result happening (part Madrid confidence being shot, part giving Ajax the belief).

A favourable draw and City/PSG can finally claim their first title, while even Tottenham have nothing to play for but the CL which makes them interesting.

We are there too of course, but you have to imagine a guy like Pep can outwit Mou-lite just like he did Mourinho.
