I can't understand how the CL will be 'easy' for us.

City, Atletico/Juventus, Bayern/Liverpool, United (when they get back to full strength) will all be there.

These wont be easy matches.

Real Madrid are shit and PSG are eternal bottlers, all of the teams mentioned above are more of a threat than these two.

None of them have the experience to win it besides us. Experience really counts in UCL. Bayern is not as strong as it used to be, and one of the Juve-ATM will be out next week most likely Juve. City is strong but lack the experince to win it. Who else? Liverpool? United? Please, I would love us to draw them next round! The only real threat for us ATM and I think we can handle them.

How has that experience helped us last few years? We are not as hungry as most of the teams in this competition.

Cmon boyss lets crush Lyon next week, dont bottle it pleasee...I couldnt stand one more early CL exit, especially with how things are going so far, we actually might have chance of winning the whole thing and that would probably mean another historic treble :)))
So pumped right now, cant wait for next wednesday!!!

Yes, but a team who wasn't good enough but with experience kept winning it and they are out.

Besides, we bottled it thanks to.... Valverde, who lacked the UCL experince.

Buffon has declined a fair bit, must have trashcan hands these days.

He just turned 41 recently. No surprise really, is it? Been in decline for some seasons already. In particular post 2017 where he most probably should have called it a day coming off one of his best seasons in recent years. Greatly helped by Juve's fantastic defense that season. Another thing is that they crumpled in the final as usual but he could not do anything on that occasion. Juve are historical bottlers in the CL for a reason with 7 final loses. More than any other club.

He was good, had a lot of money and resources to spend though.
Morten or ThwiX probably follow Norwegian football a lot more than me though so better to answer this question. Perhaps vinni too.

He actually wasnt that great in Norway.
He won a couple of league titles in his first spell for Molde, his 2nd spell he kept making weird decisions, bad transfers, though the football was in general good.

Total bs penalty. Psg can only blame themselves but Utd are just another Real Madrid. They benefit hugely from questionable decisions.

If a side is behind all they have to do is blast the ball against a players hand or arm and scream to the ref for VAR. It's bullshit.

Also I wouldn't be too smug we are an old team with a poor record in cl ko stage. I can see Lyon getting a draw or win.

VAR has become a farce. Refs use it very selectively. This ref must have been a closet Utd fan but Psg paid dearly for their arrogance.

What a week! Barca and Atleti better go with the right attitude and approach next week or we are going to see more surprises.

Amazing how VAR changed the course of the CL. Imagine how it could all end up if we had VAR since 3 years ago. Different champions and definitely different bdor winners!

How the hell was that a penalty?

UEFA still decides the winner even with VAR ?

Would've been pleased if both were eliminated last night but PSG were hard done, a terrible interpretation of the handball rule - should never have been a penalty

That being said, couldn't have happened to a more deserving club - scratch that, there is the obvious one
