Klopp is not going to play a high pressing game. He hardly even does nowadays. His main objective is to stay as compact as possible, and then transition as fast as they can given the chance. Set pieces, corners, counter attacking, pouncing on individual mistakes, you name it. They will try to be as effective as possible without overdoing certain aspects of the game. If Barcelona is going to play a static game then it will be easy for them to contain us. Barcelona will press abit more but Liverpool isn't United. They wouldn't succumb to the pressure that easy.

Bingo. We will in trouble with their counter attacks. They can sit back and wait for us to make mistake. They can play game like this with their team but Barca can't.

Terrible vs United? We were good and the game was over after 2-0. We didn't have to push 90 minutes. United never challenged us for 180 min. Liverpool will. This is the first real challenge in a while.

Should be a cracking game, I'm hoping dembele isn't against TAA. As great as TAA is going forward, he has shown great weakness against pacey players attacking him.

I can't really comment on how the game will go as I haven't watched Barcelona for a while tbh.

But I imagine it will be us counter attacking at nou camp, and hoping for an away goal or 2. And at anfield, it will be the 30 minute blitz at the start hoping barcelona persist at playing out from the back.

Who knows.

Oh, he won't be. All things point to Coutinho starting at this moment. Also, it will likely be Mane vs Roberto.

I think he should do, he will have watched Liverpools games or had scouts watching where our weaknesses are. And I don't think coutinho is going to do as much damage as dembele.

As good as coutinho is, with his cutting in and shooting.... I think he isn't the best player to play against us

Mane is an absolute beast of a player, not sure if you've seen him much for us this season. But he has matured into arguably the main man for us and most consistent. Rarely loses the ball and never runs into trouble. Always seems to either pass and run or take on pretty much everyone he has taken on. Very good.

funny feeling spurs will win their tie, even though they're massive underdogs. we'll go through and meet spurs in the final. anyone know if two teams from the same group have ever met in the final of the champions league?

With Son out for the 1st leg and Ajax away form this season, I'm actually thinking Ajax has more chances to win tomorrow than next week. So I'm thinking another 2-1 away victory for Ajax, then a 1-1 or 2-2 draw in the return leg.

They were good in the home games, but they were quite unlucky.
