Everyone praising Ajax but for me all big clubs have declined and its totally abnormal to see a team like Ajax at this level of the competition. if the big clubs were at their level, this ajax would be nothing. they can very well lose 5-0, it wouldn't surprise me.

it's just like the world cup, france won it but all other NT were disaster, they won it they didn't even know how and pretty sure if the big teams were at their level France would have never done it. i'm just giving my opinion about the Ajax Hype only.

I consider juve as a strong opponent this season, yet, ajax kicked them out with outplaying them, and real, i wouldnt take nothing from this ajax side, they are amazing team, but thats rare, ajax is trying to play great every season in CL, they got trashed they come back, this year they play in semis, absolutely deserved, but i wouldbt take ajax model for some kind of example, while barca have strong historical connection with that club, barca is olaying on highest level, and its unrealistic to expect great football every season, doing right transfers all the time and picking always right coach, no, there will be times like now when barca doesnt play most attractive football but still they have to collect big trophies to keep it up with other top guns, no time for some experiments on such level, its either you got it right or not but you still have to perform

France is without a doubt the most stacked NT there is. They're brimming with talent in every single position. They made it to the Euro 2016 finals and eventually won the 2018 WC. That's no fluke or weakness of other NTs. It's just France being really really good.

If anything shows the weakness of NTs, its Croatia making it to the WC finals or Portugal winning Euros 2016. Those were sub standard teams that somehow made it to the finals, not France.

I think we should give Ajax the credits they deserve. It's not like they got lucky against Bayern, Real, Juve and Tottenham. They were the better side in every game. With good football.
Money is ruling football more and more in the modern world. But Ajax shows that there's still some hope left for the smaller clubs.

It's good to see a historical club like Ajax back in the CL. So so called top clubs like City... spend millions and millions every year. But i doubt they will ever win this trophy.

Well spain 2010 and germany 2014 were certainly the better teams because of barca-real chemistry and bayern-german-playing in germany chemistry, but france has by far a bigger pool of talents. They 4th choices in every position would still be better than many wc contruies

i don't disagree with this. indeed they deserve credits but my point is still the same, they wouldn't be here if other big clubs were at their level. biggies under performing is why ajax is still alive today.

They are not stacked at striker position tbf, with Benzema out and Mbappe out wide, Giroud had zero goals for the best team in the tournament :lol:

When you just don't concede goals or very few, how ever the way you play, you can just rely on Messi and Suarez. They’ll always find a way to score.
