Looking at their starting XI, they have a really good mix of top senior players: Lewandowski, Thiago, Boateng, Neuer, Muller, Alaba, Martinez

and absolutely WORLD class (potential) young players: Gnarby, Kimmich, Pavard, Davies, Coman, Hernandez

Very good squad depth too: Goretzka, Odriozola, Tolisso, Coutinho, Perisic

Their squad planning in the last two seasons has been nothing short of exceptional.

Liverpool surpassed us in CL titles last year, Bayern will probably too in this season or the next one with a squad like this.

Bayern are as poised as always. Give them a team that isn't a defensive shambles to go up against, Lewandowski becomes 10x less effective and the rest of the confidence tends to evaporate. Flick is a CL rookie too. I don't expect them to get past the next round.

It's not that tough to imagine though. They are demolishing the PL in a way Bayern and PSG would struggle to in their one-horse league. They are just something else these days and 1-0 away isn't the worst result for them.

Maybe if we had won 3-0 against Napoli Away we would have been equally favorites.
