Crossing is great as a weapon vs lockdown teams, but what this attests to is that Klopp doesn't actually have flexibility to beat those sides that ARE able to park it, suffer and survive. You need to actively have 1 or 2 players that are different from your usual tripe. And they don't have that. Villa was so good for Barcelona at just being a striker when they needed him to be.

Not many teams if any can claim to have had a better approach than Liverpool in past 2/3 seasons.

He is good, but not that good. He's like marcelo with lesser skill set. A total defensive liability, good crosses(oh fuck me) and perfect players infront to thrive. Mane, firmino, salah and vvd are the 'only' world beaters in their side.

Surprisingly, he has always been better in CL for us than in domestic competitions. But overall, he is known for 1 shot on target = 1 goal against PSG. He had a serie like that where he conceded something like 14 goals out of 14 or 15 shots on target the year we lost the title to Monaco.

He is not a terrible keeper but he is useless. In CL, you need a keeper who will step up his game and make those needed saves to keep you in the tie. Put Areola in that Atletico team ans they lose by 3 goals.
