Barely anyone takes Barca seriously after 8-2 with Messi on the outs TBH, but La Liga champion that didn't really fold against City, getting knocked out in groups after almost never(?, 1993?) being knocked out in groups? Coronaseason and all, but us in Europa would be just terrible for La Liga all around.

Hakimi has to put in a blinder if he ever wants to come back to Madrid and contend for a title.

Surely nobody takes Madrid seriously eihter after VAR was introduced in CL and after what CSK Moscow, Shakhatar and Ajax did to them since then.

Don't know what's worse though. Beating the mediocre and good sides and getting smacked silly by the best in Europe, or being shat on by the minnows right away like recent years Madrid. Legit puzzling question.

PSG will lose.

On a serious note, Wolfe is right. Madrid crashing out will not be good for La Liga at all. We will get less broadcast money as a whole.

It's worth it. La Liga is fucked anyway for some 3-5 years. Plus, maybe less money is what we need to up our management structure and start to get clever again.

Just hearing that techno EL anthem with their mugs close-ups would be gold.

LOL just pictured this in my head. Would be fukin glorious, then it pans to Zidane on the dugout.

On a serious note, I don't see RM getting knocked out or even finishing second. Mochengladbach and Inter are massive bottlers.

VAR made zero difference to Real scores in CL. Half the world was moaning about Ajax getting a goal chalked off vs us and how Perez pays off UEFA.

All the rest is kinda symptomatic, but kinda irrelevant. As long as we kept qualifying that is. If we go Europa, that's a big knock.

I know, but it's embarrassing to be outplayed by Shakhtar both home and away.

BBZ is the exception to the 3-4 year rule. We've had many great trolls on these forums.

Jair "The Project" Ventura

Amoebagician

Marchisio "We got the result we wanted in Amsterdam" 8

Tackle - "MIA since Ney went MIA v Bayern"

They've all had their cycle but BBZ is eternal. From the days of arguing Pedro > Ney in 14-15 to a gargantuan level of hatred for Puig. He'll play the possession game (10,000 word posts compared to the average of 100 to clog up the page). He'll pump in those 100 crosses against the bus (the 100 useless stats he conjures up against those who want to protect sanity/logic). He'll switch tactics (narratives) on a dime. He'll have his favorites (those with coins) and his non-favorites. Il grandissimo BBZ.
