Not the op but for me, Bayern are a great club who deserve their success, they have earned it and I respect that. I don't care if they get to a 7th Champions League, good for them, they have never been a problem for Barca off the pitch. PSG on the other hand have been a problem for Barca and also the little issue of being given billions by Qatar and I would hate to see them or City win the Champions League.

How is there a big difference between a billionaire club like PSG/City and Bayern, who can immediately purchase any Bundesliga player they want? It's not like Bayern is some club with all homegrown players. Lewandowski, arguably their biggest player, was swooped up from their league rivals when they were at their peak. Dortmund is no longer a threat to Bayern and is now just a feeder club for them. Why is there so many excuses for Bayern in this forum anyway? What have they done to gain so much respect?

Bayern is a genuine European rival.

City all the way. Also wouldn't mind if Chelsea won. They've gotten more likeable since the Mourinho era.

PSG I would hate to win since seeing Neymar lose is fun.

I never understood the concept of anyone supporting Bayern here. They are our most direct rivals for 2nd greatest European club all-time after the scumbags from Madrid.

I think we hold a slight lead right now because our CL wins have been more impressive and our league is tougher (H2H with RM) but they would take the crown with a 7th CL for sure.

I think for many people there is still the duel Neymar vs barca - nobody won it yet but if PSG wins CL Ney would win it. Im still for PSG, Bayern gave us the two biggest humilations in cl history

Excuses for what? Bayern buy players that make their squad better, its not their fault that Dortmund have no ambition and Hamburg and Stuttgart and other big clubs have been run into the ground.

Bayern have earned their money by being successful over decades, while City and PSG were given their money by countries who are using them to sportswash their image. Bayern aren't perfect either but I can't understand why a neutral would rather PSG or City win than a club like Bayern Munich.

As for Bayern being our rivals, the two clubs have very rarely if ever gone for the same type of player, they don't pay huge transfer fees nor really high wages so that's not an issue and Barca have always had a higher status anyway, no matter how many European Cups each club has.

And as for humiliating the club twice, those defeats were on us, no reason to hate on Bayern.

It is more advantageous to Barca for a team that has zero CL trophies to win the CL than someone who is leading us by one CL. Same goes for Liverpool. City and PSG have no chance to catch up to us anytime soon. We have also faced Bayern a decent amount of times recently in the CL KO stages, so yes to me and to many others they are European rivals.

Lakers and Celtics fans still have heated debates because both just tied for the same amount of championships, Yankees fans are some of the most arrogant because of how many World Series wins they have, and the Federer/Nadal/Djokovic debate will never stop because all three are close in Grand Slam wins.

To me this is a logical choice. Give me a PSG and City CL win, heck I would wear their jersey and root for them if they play against Bayern or Liverpool in a final.

Yup, and I already got my City jersey (with #4 Guardiola printed)

At the end of the day, it is a personal choice which team people support, I guess.

I remember when they posted that 10-1 or 10-2 scoreline v Arsenal in 16/17, only to get beaten home and away by RM the next round.

The next time we're strong and they're weak, I hope we absolutely annihilate them.

We are somewhat of a "nice" club compared to many others in Europe. We also played in third gear vs them away in 14/15 semis.

Yeah, Bayern never let up when they are thrashing somebody and they are always going for the ultimate humiliation and kill. One of the many reason I resent that club.
