Suarez has 0 CL away goals since 2015 in some 25 games.
MATS concedes 1 goal every 2 shots.
Absolutely shocking numbers.
Alba gets a lot of flak for that Anfield game and he's a clown who deserves it. But Suarez and MATS carry a bigger reputation as world class players and have straight up flopped.
This PSG is setup like LE21's Barcelona. When you have attackers like Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria (Neymar, Suarez, Messi) and a good midfielder to directly link to them like Verratti (Iniesta) then you just sit back and counter quickly and leave them to do what they do on the ball.
It is basically a cheatcode that any coach will struggle against and you can't really answer against. You just have to hope they have an off day.
City started fine playing there game, and then PSG started getting the ball to their front trio and suddenly Man City have to overthink every attack as losing the ball turns deadly.
Still 135 minutes in this. But so far it is Pep's worst recurring nightmare. Gonna be waking up screaming with cold sweats tonight.

They could still concede at any point. Not exactly a very solid defensive team this PSG. Their attack is great though.

2) Mbappe is zero without the open spaces to run. Some bad CR7 feints there that ended with Man City winning possesion.
3) Veratti is everything from defence to attack for PSG. The definition of playmaker.
4) Pep has built this fantasy Barca squad finally, but still lacking the magic touch of a special player, which is Leo Messi. De Bruyne is good for EPL, but he is nowhere the level of the goats. Feels like watching Steven Gerrard.

Bakker is the "Make a wish" player of PSG.
He was in Ajax academy, deemed not good enough for them. PSG did some business with Raiola who is his agent and according to the rumours, it was supposed to go with de Ligt coming to PSG. But, alas, Leonardo got appointed and Antero evicted and the de Ligt deal fell through.
Since we had lot of injuries and Covid cases, Bakker had to play for us. He himself must be surprised he is playing in CL, let alone in a semi final. There is zero expectation about him. Fans want him to do well so that we could sell him for a nice fee.
