Hope the transfer ban thingy can disturb them a bit

transfer ban? also I just heard they are interested in Crouch, the Peter Crouch

edit: just googled, seems they could be banned for signing 25 minors, if they do get a ban hopefully that means Hazard won't be off to Madrid

Well, well, well...

It's not Hazard, but still...

Now with Giroud, they will probably play RM style and cross even more. Unless Conte fields Hazard as a striker.

Morata or Giroud, it doesn't matter which one of them. They can't harm us. They lack ideas in attack and those two aren't the type of players that would be able to create goal chances on their own.

We should be handling Chelsea either way. Strong defense and aggressive midfield it's what's needed to knock out Barca, and Chelsea don't have it. Also, Drogba was one of the deadliest strikers we've ever played against. Their current attackers are water pistol compared with that beast.

Drogba, what a player he was, absolute terror for opposition defence, player that i wished he played for barca

Overall i agree with your comment, morata is easy to handle

So, Chelski in the Europa cup, eh?
Given the competition for top 4 in PL and the fact that winning the Europa cup gives CL spot, could we start seeing english teams dominating the tournament?
Given that accidents such as Atletico failing in the group stages doesnt happen, ofc.

They have already started trying harder in it.

Two finalists, one winner and a semi finalist in past three seasons all chasing the CL spot.

There was not much between Atleti and Arsenal even over the two legs.

Yeah, as long as a top 5 team who belongs in CL semi finals somehow find themselves in EL after the group stages, we can expect many PL teams going for the win here.
Chelski surely will be favorites next year, but it depends how well they do in the league, i expect them to do significantly better than this year, so they might not focus too much on Europa cup, but we will see.

Disagree about Arsenal vs Atletico, btw, the away goal completely killed the tie. Atletico is just not the type of team that dominates most matches, its just how they play, it looked closer than it actually was.

Arsenal missed a lot of chances over two legs and should have beaten them by a few at home really and away leg was fairly close.

It was close tie.

It was not even remotely close. Atleti destroyed Arsenal in the second leg, and even the first leg where they played the whole match with a player less Arsenal coudn't do shit against them. Atleti missed more chances in the second leg alone than Arsenal in both legs.
