They also signed a few prospects under Strasbourg too, like that Senegal midfield beast from the U17 WC.

Coz why the fuck not.

Coz they abide by EPL version FFP.

Fuck Fair Play.

But in simple terms, American growth business strategy. Debt load for asset increase.

In FFP terms, register sales at 100% income while signs amortized over contract length.

So a 40m sale is 40m income. A 40m signing is 40m+wages divided by X years.

When Pedro Neto goes for 65m in this market is 58m for Nico Williams a terrible deal? I won't say it's a coup, but it's not so bad is it?

A disgusting business model. And even more disgusting that this shit is allowed. The other teams could easily teach them an unforgettable lesson and stop taking in their loan army. That would be the end of them probably, forced demotion one or two leagues, transfer bans and more. They would suffocate on so many players, but sadly the other teams will lend them a helping hand.

It's a coup.

Williams without the buyout after that euros, Bilboa wants 80m minimum.

They're trying some retarded version of moneyball where they're signing up a lot of top-end talent hoping 10% of them will pan out. They know most of them will flop.

Issue with that strategy is that young players like that need a stable environment usually with some vets/experienced players around them. Proper leadership.
Without that you'll have what you saw last season. Dumbass players fighting over silly things on the pitch or over some onlyfans girl or some shit as Nicolas Jackson did lol. I don't like Pochettino and don't think he's elite or ever will be an elite manager, however.......I probably was too harsh on him because no one can have success with the conditions he had to work under.

Guys like Pep, Klopp wouldn't even touch a job like that.

Its not as good as it appears and is actually a major gamble.

They have a huge amount of contracted first team players on decent wages and long contracts and if they fail or don't get sold for profit it will be a massive amount of budget in the bin in a few years time.

They are using a strategy of mass signing young talents and hoping their value appreciates but its not risk free or necessarily a huge gap in the rules.
