Christian Eriksen

Playing as a left winger with licence to drift inside, it looks like Eriksen is finding his feet under Sherwood.
His performance against Man Utd, aside from a great assist and neat poached goal, was pretty good, and his goal against WBA was a trademark Eriksen freekick. I honestly believe he's already one of the very best freekick takers out there, which is pretty impressive considering his age. He may well proceed to be one of the best of his generation in that department.

I know some people in here already called him overrated based on him being benched by Villas Boas, but considering it's his first stint outside The Eresdivisie, I think he's doing well. An adaption period was always to be expected - just look at Lamela for instance.

He's still not a type to make flashy dribbles, nor is he lightning fast, but he's very mature, creative and one of those players who makes his surroundings better. Once he learns to take control and assert himself even more during games, he's going to be so valuable to Tottenham.
I'm really looking forward to following his development, and even though I doubt he'll be amongst the real elite, he'll surely become a very, very good player.

42 national caps at the age of 21 btw...

Was named player of the season by the Tottenham fan club today, and for what it's worth, Whoscored also have him as the top rated Spurs player.

12 goals and 15 assists in 39 matches in his debut season is an impressive haul, and quite a bit better than I would have expected. But he has transitioned much faster than I thought he would.

He still needs to take better control of matches once in a while, and he still disappears from time to time, but at 22 years of age, I suppose it's only to be expected.

I'm really looking forward to watching him evolve next season, and if he continues this trajectory, he'll move to a true top club within a year or two.

Would be great to see him here some day. Personality-wise, he would fit in perfectly. Such a humble guy.
