Christian Eriksen

He won't fit, I keep telling you guys.

He lacks that pause in his game, that all great Barcelona midfielders need.

Deco
Iniesta
Xavi

They all had it.

That second or two where they just wait.

Samper as it, which is why, I wont give up on him.

Samper is a segunda player tho.

tbh i want neither, you know how swedih television are when a nordic player plays. they cant alk about anyone else.
hated that when ibrahimovich played with us.

At least Ibra and Eriksen would be worth the media hype.

The press went crazy here with the Pro-RM bias after Ødegaard joined them.

I remember when Zlatan said that he need to grow up and become independent instead of having daddy do everything for him. People got so butthurt here, but he was right.

Its not really the mediahype. Its the pretalk, commentators, halftimetalk AND aftergame talk. Its like the other 10 players doesnt exist

He is in a good place at the moment. Of course if Barca comes calling it is hard to turn it down but no one would be surprised if he decided to stay at Spurs.

If Spurs can keep their best players and their manager then there's no reason they can't solidify themselves as a top four team, which would be massive for them, especially if it's at the expense of Arsenal.

Trusting in Wenger for all those years and this is what he leaves them with...

He has a very good profile to fit us, with both the assisting-role, key-passes and huge defensive contribution.
Class player, but he plays for Spurs, and has a reasonable long contract, so I'm not that confident we can get him at all, and if we can, it might be for the same pricelevel as Coutinho or Suarez..

to me he is second rate at best, I hope we don't get him

Top 3 (2?) in keypasses and assists in the PL since he joined Tottenham, while he's the player on the team who does the hardest leg work. For an AM his scoring contribution is highly impressive as well.

He can pick an attacking pass better than any of our current midfielders, even a blind man can see that. That said, he's probably not the player to propell us unto top spot in world football in our current predicament, but saying he's barely second rate (whatever arbitrary ruleset you follow for such a classification) is either severely ignorant or just plain dumb.

Second rate at best, indeed...
