With Gotze going to Bayern Dortmund seems like a good destination for him

He has the talent, but he is a bit overrated. Should become more decisive for Ajax in a long-run streak and he hasn't done that up till now. England will suit his play the best, then Italy and Spain. Germany doesn't fit him imo, France also doesn't.
Totally agree, I think he needs to go to a club below the top clubs before proving he's good enough to play for the elite clubs. Someone like Liverpool would be perfect for this.

VF looks better and would be a better purchase for a top club at the moment, IMO.

Ajax played Dynamo Dresden in a preseason game today. Eriksen did this within the first 22 mins of the match:

Wanna see him do that consistently in the Eredivisie. I believe he is a good player, but overhyped it's hurting my ears and eyes. One of the best in the Eredivisie yes, but nowadays that doesn't tell you much. Ajax want to sell him with 1y left on contract for 15M; insane!

We should go for him if Thiago leaves. He seems like a good player and he's quite cheap. He could gain a lot of experience playing with Xavi, Iniesta and Messi. He may become a great player in few years. It's a shame he plays in a more attacking position than Xavi. He plays at Iniesta's position and the don has at least 3 years of playing at a high level.

Eriksen: "I think that most footballers dream of playing for Barcelona"
Eriksen: "I think that Barcelona's style would fit me very well and a transfer to Camp Nou would be great. However, I still have plenty of challenges left with Ajax. We'll see what happens when the time is right to move on."

Young, massive talent, willing for a transfer to CampNou, cheap - what more could you want?

How is that insane? We sold Vertonghen for 12M, and he is a CB. As a PSV fan you probably enjoy players like Strootman(talk about overhyped). Powerful but..well, zero creativity. Eriksen has everything. Good passing, fantastic free kicks and corners and he has incredible 'loopvermogen' (Don't know the english word, basically means he can run all match). His weakness I would say is that he sometimes loses possession easily. But that's nothing time and experience can't fix. He's only 21 years old!

He would probably be even better playing in a deeper position.

Sure, talk about me being a PSV fan and thus me loving overrated Strootman without any creativity whatsoever. But my point is about the contract, who will pay 15M for Eriksen with 12 months left on contract?

Good passer; true. Nothing to add there.
Fantastic free kicks; hasn't proven to be a prolific free kick scorer. Did it in an international game and in a friendly lately, but I have never hear anyone say 'Eriksen, the amazing free kick taker'.

He is only 21 years old, but he is playing at Ajax for years now. And has he been dominant? No, absolutely not. Vertonghen was and I would say De Jong is more dominant than Eriksen.

I've seen crazier prices being paid for players. Eriksen is a big talent. He now needs tot take that extra step and like you said be more dominant. I never said he was ready to leave Ajax, which I don't think he is. Just that 15M isn't that high. And have you ever thought that maybe Ajax don't want to sell? That's probably why they keep the price high.

Eriksen has only been in the starting eleven for what? 2,5 years now? Thats not very long. Vertonghen was 25 when he left ajax and was only consistent for the last 6 months. De Jong is 24 now. So you can't really compare them.

Free kicks aren't always straight at goal. Sometimes teammates can head them in you know.
