Were you going to say "who cares" if it was someone else than Messi who missed the penalty and a free header in rebound?

I'm speaking of the result, as the tie is now over. I'm annoyed at the miss though as it would have allowed us to take it easy in the second leg, maybe even play some bench players, but in the overall scheme of things we should be celebrating like its new years. We just beat the dame EPL champions!!! :party1:

Not a problem od us not scoring at home, but that game is before El Clasico. We could have gone with 3 in a bag and no hassle, now we will have to play...

Exactly. I don't know what happened there. Like they gave up in 2nd half..."you know what..2:0 is just fine."
I don't think so. Lucho is just more conservative than Pep and i can't blame him. Current Barca doesn't seem like world beaters yet. I'drather prefer some good results in iffy away matches (in witch Pep constantly failed btw), than use the trailblazer approach that could have us conceeding more goals and go away from Manchester as loosers in high scoring match.

What if they score early and it's 2-2 then they get confidence whilst we get scared they might counter us and get another that could put them through.

Last time at Camp Nou Aguero touched the ball something like one time in the first half. They are not Chelsea, they are naive in Europe and don't stand a chance. I would bet my house on it.

We were already 2-0 up though and they looked utterly defeated we were playing the ball around and creating chances for fun, it would be crazy if Lucho told them to be conservative in the second half.

Meh, doesn't mean they couldn't grab a goal and make our players nervous, just look at tonight, at half time you'd think no way are City coming back even if they score we will just keep going at them, well not the case.

They can easily score two past us in the nou camp. Especially with yaya back.

Its gonna be a nervous game, hopefully nobody gets injured before then.

Once again just like the first leg of the Copa we could of won "'better"' due to another missed penaldo. Unreal these missed spot kicks.

I see what people are saying that the 2nd half was just so weak & the penalty made it feel like a loss, I get it but at the end of the day we're at home.

City, at their own ground, in front of their own fans got shown up again. Last year they did bring it more at the Camp Nou but without wanting to sound arrogant & overly confident, it's really hard to see City pulling this back.

With the full support of the crowd, the choke artists that City are, they'll play into our hands again. They left so much space today and do you honestly think they'll tighten that up in 3 weeks?

Messi is going to be hungry and wanting to prove himself after that. Is there anything more dangerous than that kind of Messi?
