The starting eleven is quite clear in my opinion :

Mats
Dani - Pique - Mathieu - Alba
Rakitic - Mascherano - Iniesta
Leo - Luisito - Ney

Don't be so naive. None of the EPL teams are as good as barca/RM so their league matches are more balanced and tougher. Chelsea can easily drop points. Look at Liverpool last season ffs. They choked the title away so badly.

Lol you cant compare chelsea to liverpool. Mourinho and chelsea wont lose it from here imo.

Anyway, regardless of this, we cant expect the same man city that has been rubbish in the past few weeks.

Only one position is not clear: Mathieu or Bartra as the second CB?

I'd go with Bartra. He's so passionate and would die for our shirt. I think this mentality would overshadow his flaws and he'd play great. He was MotM vs PSG as well. He deserves it, probably more than Mathieu.

I agree, Mathieu seems too nervous to give me confidence with him at the back in a big game like this. Bartra has gotten more and more of that same mentality that Puyol had. He has become pretty fearless in the way he plays this season, always giving it his all and leaving his heart out on the field. That attribute is worth a lot in games like this, if he has the skills and level to back it up, which I feel he has.

I'd start Pique and Bartra as well.

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
I'm hoping for the following lineup (thanks for adding this, Bertus):

[FORMATION=barca]
MAtS
Alves-0-Piqué-0-Bartra-0-Alba
f1-0-0-0-0-0-f1
0-0-0-Mascherano-0-0-0
0-Rakitic-0-0-0-Iniesta,c-0
0-0-0-0-0-0-0
0-Messi-0-Suárez-0-Neymar-0[/FORMATION]

I'm predicting a 2-0 win.

An in form Mathieu (like the first half of the season before El Clasico) is still better to me than in form Bartra. However, with the current forms, I would pick Bartra easily over Mathieu.

You guys are being way too optimistic. There is a reason why Bartra started this weekends match and Mathieu didn't. It only means that he's starting for the Clasico.

Or...or LE wants to give Bartra a string of games before he plays the Clasico.

:p

I know that stupid Lucho won't play him, there's also the fact that Matthieu had 4 YC .. I only hope he plays him in one of the 2 games so he can prove once and for all he's good for the big games, just like he was against PSG (and levante, and eibar etc .. ofc), absolute beast!
