Rakitic will be played in a position he is least comfortable and his rightful position will be taken by a lesser able player
Rakitic is poorer at defending as compared to busquets and xavi is poorer than rakitic
And your team has only two/three players who can defend set pieces, another trouble waiting to happen
Xavi and iniesta cant defend as we know, they will be killed alive by madrid's counters as they have been killed so many times before
You are taking it for granted that Madrid are in poor foorm but both teams bring their A game to a game as big as classico. The last classico came at a time when we were in great form and hadnt conceded a goal and then baaam

Well if i were a betting man i would bet all my savings that lucho will never use that lineup because he sees rakitic as a CM and this was proved again yesterday where he even played sergi roberto as a DM to maintain Rakitic's position and BTW if lucho sees rakitic as a DM he would have played him there by now in preparation for city and classico but he didnt

And again we are not playing rayo or eibar, we are playing big teams where there will be defending counters. What does a xavi.rakitic.iniesta midfield give in that regard? Two oldies and a guy who's being brutally underutilized in a position too deep that he cant even show his true ability? Does that midfield translate success to you?
