Usually clubs spend 90m and buy new players to remove and replace the deadwood at the club.

The League was always going to be the realistic target this season. This team didn't sign a single impactful player this summer to compensate for the loss of Dani Alves or an aging and slow midfield. The performances against the better teams has been underwhelming to say the least.
