Good, I hope the whole team take this psychological blow (like the rest of us fans did so painfully), digest it, do some hard soul searching and come to realize their attitude and effort yesterday (saving for the last 10 minutes or so) were simply pathetic and unprofessional and should they continue with that kind of privileged/spoiled/taking-things-for-granted bullshit they will win nothing in the future.

I don't feel any sympathy for them.

I felt bad for our players after the Bayern hammering because they had fought hard for so many years and we were suffering so many terrible things off the pitch that getting hammered like that was just a cruel for everybody involved.

Today, I am disgusted by them. First time in 15 years as a Barca fan that I am genuinely ashamed and embarrassed to be associated with this club. And while the feelings will subside over time, this will never be forgotten.

Pathetic group of entitled divas.

I've been supporting this club since 2001 and I have to admit that this is one of the worse moment I've been through as a fan.
To be at the top for so long - 2009 to 2012 then 2015 again, and see our team and club so low on every aspect is really tough to see and literally reminds me of the early years of this century.

Iniesta has always been my favorite player (well, Leo is not from this planet) but I'm gonna repeat myself one year later. He's done and it is the time for him to let youngsters take his role.

We need fresh blood in midfield, and above all, some GRINTA. This team lacks so much hunger, and there is only one solution for that : New blood in the team and in the staff.

Valverde is a good coach but I think that Barcelona deserves someone better. I just can't stand anymore to see him not yelling at the players and keeping his mouth shut when things are bad.

The likes of Iniesta, Rakitic, Gomes, Vidal, Digne and Suarez have made their time at the club and need to leave.
We need to buy proven central-midfielders and refresh this team with new ideas and above all, GRINTA !

Messi still has 3-4 years of world-class football to give us... let's stop wasting that and giving him what he deserves, which is glory and titles.

when something goes seriously wrong for Barça, the opposite team usually does the following: press, work hard, be physical at the limit tolerated by the referee, don't give Barça players any space.
Few teams can pull it off for 90 minutes.
Atletico Madrid did it when Barça was eliminated from the CL, Espanyol did it recently when they won a game at the Copa, PSG did it in Paris, and now Roma was able to win a game that way.
It only works when Barça players are not rested enough to withstand the pressure.
Yesterday we were waiting for Roma to get tired and let Barça take over, but we had to wait until the result was 3:0.
When there were about 15 min (incl extra time) left to play, the pressure finally disappeared, Roma players got tired and there was a chance for Barça to come back. Iniesta suddenly looked good and started orchestrating the offense, along with Messi. Dembélé came finally in and added a threat. What did EV do when Iniesta started to play well? he subbed him off for Gomes.
It is easy to analyze EV's mistakes after the fact, not playing Dembélé was a big one, but his worst decision was working the key players too hard before such an important game, for not respecting Roma enough.

Should have run more than 105 kms as a team when EVERYONE else runs 115-120.

Should have realized that wasting energy going all in on CDR for the 4th year in a row is destroying our end of season form. Even an idiot can figure this out after the atletico and juve eliminations. Are the players more stupid than Ramos?

Should realize that the glory days of 08-12 and 14-15 when Barca stepped onto the field and teams practically gave up are gone and buried. No one fears this team.

Should not buy into their own hype when they've done well in the first half of the season. That was achieved by hard work and grit, and yesterday they showed neither. even madrid with all their talent give 110% in CL KO games.

I said yesterday that it's not normal we run 10km less than every other team in the world.

10km is a big difference.

Sentimental days are over.

Suarez, Rakitic, Iniesta, Alba, Umtiti, Gomes, Vidal, Denis all can leave if they aren't committed to this club or aren't cutting it at the level required anymore.

I'd rather burn this whole fucking team to the ground and start fresh even if it takes us a few years to get back to the top rather than witness humiliation after humiliation with this lot of divas every year.

Not good. Not good at all. A million times worse than yesterday. The only silver lining is that I think I would feel even worse had we gotten humiliated next round. Even more so from Madrid.

I feel worse than yesterday. Simply because the feeling has sunk in. Yesterday was disbelief, today there are anger and sadness. I'm disappointed with everybody. Heads should go at Barca.

We need a plan how to go on. We are a club with CL pedigree and winning Copa every year and Liga every other year is underachieving imo. We have 3-4 years of Messi on the highest level left. We need to surround him with players that can actually help him and can play without him on the pitch and therefore create a foundation for past-Messi Barca.

Haven't been able to think of anything positive since yesterday. Football is a tonic for me. Whatever happens in real life, I know there's a Barca game to look forward to. Valverde's first blame is softening that excitement I always have for Barca games. He plays DISGUSTING football.

To not make ANY changes till the 73rd minute when everyone knew Roma were destroying us - this has to be the single most stupid act of a manager in recent UCL history. He is so far our of his depth, it's comical that he even got here.

Tata, Lucho, Valverde...I don't get when we are actually going to have a manager the majority of the fans can get behind. We are FCB, and we have the GOAT. Is it that hard to get a really good manager who doesn't have some really big flaw in his approach?

BT pundits had it spot on yesterday when saying Barca had no fight and defend with 8 outfield players.

It is fucking pathetic.

We can afford to accomodate 1 player that doesn't defend, not 2. And that should be Messi. So next season, Griezmann-Messi-Dembele please, converting to 4-5-1 when defending.

Benzema and Ronaldo don't defend either at Real.

Yeah but what happens when those defending players get the ball? They will give it to the likes of Modric or Isco who will ghost past a few players and create a counter attack or make passes through the lines that split the oppositions team open or Kroos will make pinpoint long range passes that will cause chaos to the oppositions defensive line.

What do we do? Rakitic get's the ball and makes a back pass to the CB or FBs and invites more pressure and forces risky plays that give away the ball and cause calamity in our half.
