We have been playing some sexy football as of late. Don't really care who we play in the semis.

Great performance.

Bayern next round please.

Why?

Isn't it better we draw Juventus/Monaco or Atletico if they go through?

Drawing Bayern in the semis, means Real draw Juve/Monaco in the semis which gives them an advantage in the league, an we also draw a tough opponent again in the semi. Keep also in mind that Bayern have no league, merely 34 training sessions during which they can prepare for their 10 to 13 CL games. The exact opposite of what we have.

Drawing Bayern, will be good news for Madrid on multiple levels, and correspondingly bad news for us on multiple levels.

Well, I do.

There is some considerable difference between AS Monaco and Bayern/Real, wouldn't you agree?

If we don't play Real/Atleti/Bayern in the next round, we will have to play one of them in the final. I would argue that it easier to beat a top team in a two legged tie than in a one off final in a neutral ground.

Yes but it is easier to beat a top team in a two leg tie. Plus, I want us to get some revenge for the drubbing we took when we last played Bayern in the semis.

Looks how dominant we have been in two-legged ties this season. We ARE the team to beat in such a tie.

I don't believe Bayern are even that strong in all honestly. They can dominate Shakhtar and Porto at home, so what?

We have been dominate. But, no disrespect to City or PSG. Madrid and Bayern are a different animal than those two teams..

Wonderful display in 1st half. In second team took the foot off the pedal but still shut down PSG. Proud that the boys didn't show any signs of complacency.

I think we are very much underestimating these performances. After beating City, now we've beaten PSG twice. Team that eliminated Chelsea (deemed one of the biggest favorites for CL this season).

Well done Lucho, well done team! :barca flag:

Just watched a summary (sorry guys I watched Bayern mainly), and 1/ Barca did great. And didn't have to force their talents. 2/ Barca was great but damn PSG was weak. Curious to know how many times Pastore lost the ball, and his number of bad passes.

This game epitomized the difference for us this season, you can try to hold down messi all you want. we have other ways of scoring and the other players will destroy you while you leave you're midfield bare guarding him.
