Hello dakt.

I lean towards being a baptist basing on most of what i believe.

But we got no baptist churches in here (that i know of)

So i go to a pentecostal church

I read the other day and was surprised to see how many Protestants are in Tanzania. I was pretty much sure that most of the Christian Africa were Catholics.

There's plenty of us

Though i think Catholics are more.
I was also catholic (because of my parents) but then i shifted from that direction since 2011.

And i do think we have slightly higher number of Muslims than Christians here

Well it was more of God drawing me out of there than my own doing/figuring out.

1994-2011 i was mostly a nominal Christian. Attending church because my mom led me there. I was just a part of a system.

Later on God placed me in a company of people who sought after him, who examined the scriptures to find his truth and i discovered many things about the catholic faith in particular that staying was no longer impossible.

God revealed so much unto me through examining scriptures and since then i moved from being a Nominal Christian to One who would repent, believe the gospel, pick up his cross and follow Christ.

Ofcourse plenty of imperfections still exist but they are being ironed out through the sanctification by God's spirit

You should try and read some of Scott Hahn works or maybe watch his videos/lectures. He had a interesting comeback to home.

Hate to disappoint you but i can't do that and have no intention whatsoever.

It is God by his grace who led me to where i am and my journey is set out in a certain direction, rather pressing forward.

I have peace with God that i am in the right place and he is leading me because it is quite clear.

Well for someone who likes to quote the Bible much, you should learn how the book came about, who were the first Christians, what is Protestant reformation, etc.
These things are real whether you ignore them or not. It won't change the core of your faith, but rather complement it.
Personally I love Protestant rhetoric and approach to the scripture, i.e. William Lane Craig is a wonderful Protestant philosopher and apologist, but I also love Scott Hahn's work and how he complements things that are missing or maybe not very understood in Protestantism. Not sure what is so scary in questioning your faith. I do that all the time.
