I wish I had you guys optimism. I think we will go out 99.9% sure. But we can always hope for some miracle.
Still, I hope we go out an a high note with a quality performance. Not like Arsenal, humiliated and weak.
Strong effort and then full focus on la liga.

I'd say 20% for Barca, 80% for PSG to go to the next stage.

After 2 terrific wins against domestic opponents, the momentum at Camp Nou is high. And if our players can burn 200% of their energy tonight, they can make it.

Messi is widely accepted as the best player in football history. And tonight he will face the toughest challenge in UCL history. Which one will prevail? The man or the challenge? Time will tell. We just need to enjoy the match.

Yeah you are right, i think that it could get ugly if they score first. But PSG players are scared about the first 20min. They did a video sponsored by Coca Cola where they were eating pizza and talking about the game. Matuidi said to Draxler that the first 20min will be like hell for them. Verratti said that our pitch looked so wide that most of the time it was 1vs1 duels, Draxler and Meunier looked so scared  I'm expecting them to defend and wait.

But they are professionals, they know how to deal with those kind of games. Our chance is that the remontada is in their heads, the first 20 min will be crucial, one goal and they are going to shit their pants. Verratti said that he would be happy with a 5-1 result, it shows how scared they are.

I call bluff, they're just holding the cards close to their chests. Expect them to attack all-in straight from the start. The smart play for them is to score asap. That's why defense will need to be at their very best. With a bit of luck, a few intercepts or surprise long-ball passes and we can nail the quick goals. If we score 2, they'll park the bus.

Pep's team had much more than just Messi to it. You think our most successful period ever is purely because we had Messi?

I can definitely tell you you're not using any type of logic there. I guess the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Pedro, Villa, Busquets, Pique, Puyol, Valdes, Alves, Abidal, Toure, Deco, Henry, etc. just *never fucking happened* because Pep moved Messi to false-9. LOGIC!

See, I don't intend to blabber non-sensical talk here; it's just that I am another side of the same coin which we are. You see only the tip of the iceberg and adamant about proving yourself, and I am just trying to reveal the rest of it. What I mean is, sure Barca under Pep was a great team - they made beautiful moments together, but if you take out Messi from the context, would you have imagined we would have won trophies? There's a reason this guy won Ballon d'or numerous times and the team saw trophies coming. If not Pep made Messi, but Messi did make Pep in the past decade or so. It was almost like Messi wanted to show his hunger, and Pep said, "Here, boy. The stage is all yours."

I admit the list of players you mentioned (apart from Deco and Ronaldinho) did make Pep's Barca, but without Messi they would be just a club with a slogan.

The logic is all yours!

Yeah they could attack us from the start, and it will probably be the smartest move for them. It could be good for us actually, pressing us high thinking they are gonna block us like they managed to do when we were still playing 4-4-3, and then get a suprise butt f*ck by Suarez when we manage to outplay them.

Giving is a 0.1% chance is also quite optimistic. This is a 4-0 deficit we are talking about, not a 2-1 or 3-1. In matter of fact, the only occasions in European competition history that a team has overturned even a 2-0 deficit was us against AC Milan in 2013 and last year's Real Madrid who did it against Wolfsburg. A 4-0 could not be overturned even against some token team, let alone one with world-class players such as PSG.

Liverpool came back from 3-0 in 45 min against one of the strongest Milan AC ever in a CL final, what were the odds of that ?. It's never impossible, if you think that it is then don't even play the return leg. But because of that 0.01 % chance you have to give it all.

I was referring to two-legged ties, not one-off finals. I'm not saying that Barca shouldn't give 100%, I am acknowledging the disastrous nature of the first result. What i would like to see tonight is us restoring some pride and the MSN getting a few goals. There's no way we can through, unfortunately.

That wouldn't make much sense. Barca is sure to start with intensity in the hopes of an early goal. From PSG's perspective, defending the first 15 mins or so forces barça to open up more then they'd like to score, which should offer them the away goal.

Well, i hope that they will surprise you. Getting few goals shouldn't be that hard if MSN unleash 100% of their potential.

 If you go back few pages in this thread you'll see that it was exactly what i told to vlad. I then responded to snowy's post which was an interesting view of how it could go. I'm just trying to bring some positivity !
