I really wanted to be wrong... Can't wait until Laporta is president and to attempt to rebuild this club like he did before... Sad days

You do realize in almost every single interview Laporta has praised the seniors and said he wants to keep Messi...?

Pochettino ran circles around Koeman. Lucky that Neymar and Di Maria were injured too.

Its not that difficult. Sit deep, cut messi off, and hoof the ball forward, then just run quick and we get plenty of chances.
A 9 year old could figure this Barca out.

Him wanting to keep Messi shouldn?t surprise anyone. What we should be worried about is him saying that Pique is the best CB in the world just a couple of days ago. That tells a lot. Don?t even want to hear what he thinks about Busi.

None of the Lenglet, Pique or Busquets should've been on the pitch. Anyone from the youth system instead of them, and this would be 1:2 at worst. They are retired players. They should play in veteran matches or MLS.

Given where we are as a club, it's strangely calm for me before this game. Since we have no title ambitions and we've basically become a Top 4 in La Liga team, I go into this game without much pressure, since we are expecting to get thumped anyway. Anything less than a thumping, and I guess I will shrug it off. A win would be great, but if not, then let's just please avoid a thrashing (in both legs).

Is avoiding a thrashing too much to ask for? Even a relegation team playing against the worlds best team would have the same expectations - avoid getting trashed. Considering this is how low our expectations are, this team should be ashamed of itself. They have shown yet again, not only are they not good enough, but they can't even be bothered to put in a spirited performance to avoid collapsing.

We are a meme club. People talk about Arsenal, United, etc. I don't remember any team getting consistently thrashed. Now we're getting thrashed at home as well. No team has been shamed like this, over and over.

Normally I would be devastated after a loss like today, but its fine. I just hope the next board clears the house (not that I would bet on it).

As did Zidane, Simeone, Pirlo, Marcelino, Lopetegui...

Koeman isn't even good enough to manager Everton lol.

Hard to put the blame on the coach when the team has a history of humiliations in CL for 4 or 5 years now.

I said it already a year ago. Barca is the club with the greatest discrepancy between expectations and reality. The best coach on the planet can't save this team.

Watch PSG gets absolutely smashed by City, Bayern, Juve etc in the quarters

Really doubt it. It looked pretty hard to do for a stronger Bayern (from CL final) and a weaker PSG with Touchel, if they keep playing like that they will be a tough team for everybody.

Pique was 100%, Lenglet 97,7%, Busquets 93,8% on pass percentage.
They are the three most defensive players, also responsible for buildup.
Were you satisfied with the way the game was played? Was the ball stalled by these players decisions (it obviously wasn't lost very much by them).
Where was the ball usually lost?
Were the goals due to defensive fuckups? If so, were these three players responsible?

What was the problem?

Meanwhile, Pedri played 23 passes with 78% acc, Griezmann 24 passes with 79% acc, Dembele and Messi had just slightly better numbers.

I am usually not a man looking at statistics too much, but in order to argue with you it might help? It seems your critique is literally "too old, doesn't run fast, I don't like his face"

Bayern smashed us very hard and they barely have beaten psg. Thats why there was no chance to win this. Even their second team on the bench would have won against.

We have no business in cl thats the reality. Every game in la liga is even a fight and that against small teams. The gap of quality between us the the other big teams is huge. We cant compete even when we are 100%. We are missing quality.

Who gives a fuck what the pass $ was for the CBs and Busi?

They put in about as bad a performance for a defensive trio as ever likely to see... once again.
