Claudio Bravo

And so we should play him over bravo when his form has been poor? What in saying is rotate and build his confidence up from having a few good games in less pressured games but right now, in a knockout CL game or el clasico, would you pick him ahead of bravo?

No, the problem is that such rotation of GKs is simply not healthy, not for either of them. They're the players who are arguably most dependent on rhythm.

That's exactly what we should do.

Bravo is better than him so we should be playing Bravo in virtually all of our games, and we can sign a back up keeper to avoid using Masip should he get injured again.

C'mon girl, don't be so greedy. ;) I get you want to see your man play more frequently. But play all our games? That would mean CDR as well. Even VV didn't play them (outside 2 seasons). Domestic cup games are usually reserved for the back-up keeper, allowing the first choice to recuperate.
If ter stegen leaves, then that money will be invested in bringing a relatively younger but estd keeper. I personally would like to see Ortolá promoted. I liked what I saw of him last season, although I haven't followed him this one.

We rotated last year so I don't see how it is unhealthy at all. Bravo is our number one, play him and rebuild MAtS confidence bit by bit

Loan Mats to some German team. Get a decent and old backup for bravo. Start bravo in CL and Liga. Best possible solution.

That same defense conceded 8 goals in 2 games...Bravo came back and then conceded 1 in 3 games.

I don't think he's worried.

This whole "Same defense" garbage you've been spouting across both goalkeeper threads is absolute nonsense. Whenever Bravo has Mathieu as LB he concedes goals just as much. Bravo has not had to deal with a Pique who is just coming back from a major suspension and an Alves who is coming back from a major injury. Bravo has not had to play without Rakatic to help cover for the aforementioned recently injured Alves and for that matter, neither has he had to play with Adriano as the starting left back. Mats has also had to play without Vermaelen, who along with Roberto did a fantastic job of protecting our net. Bravo in his time starting has been along with our best defensive performances of the season. Can you think of any major saves Bravo had to pull out of the hat in those games? I can think of plenty of instances where Vermaelen and Roberto tackled the last man and saved the day.

You can keep throwing out your non-contextual stats and tie it up with the "Same defense" lie that you love so much but at the end of the day when a goalkeeper faces a striker with a wide open shot and has three more one on one situations you'll be lucky if Bravo himself even saves one of them.
