Exactly. I never agreed with his signing and still far prefer ter Stegen but there's no reason to throw him under the bus over one mistake. Alves alone has costed us far more points than this and yet he's somehow hailed as some kind of god in this forum.

Of course. It was a bad mistake, he saw the shot coming early and reacted late and it wasn't a missile or anything. It also was a bad mistake because it crushed the whole team and fired up Sevilla who saw light at the end of the tunnel. Also, how were we supposed to control the game if Bravo kept misplacing his passes? He was feeding Sevilla's forwards and inviting them to charge at our goal.

Not claiming that LE should bench him, just said that in this type of game ter Stegen suits us better. Better cross catching and passing under pressure. Check Ajax away for example.

I will admit that times it showed last night that MATS has been feet, but still, lay off on Bravo - he's been excellent for us. If we had him last year we'd be the current Liga and Copa champions.

The mistake has ben exagurrated, yes, a good goalkeeper should save that. But still, the shot had quite some power and decent placement, sometimes these kind of shots goes in the net.
