I'd keep him and focus more on getting a Pique successor and hope Araujo turns out pretty good as well so he can compete with the likes of Lenglet and we can finally have a set of CB's that aren't either crocked or not good enough.

Gargantuan performance from the Frenchman. He was arguably MOTM even without the goal. All of his passes were incisive and line-breaking, solid defending and headers as well.

We need this type of performance against Bayern. So far he's shown a great level against tier 2 teams, but needs to do it against the very best now.

Not just in a defensive/ball playing aspect but he has improved a lot in the Mental aspect of his game. He seems far more confident and composed than letting the other team which has momentum scare him into making mistakes.

People seem to forget how good was Umtiti before the Worldcup

Umtiti sacrficed his own career for that WC and ignored docters advice in getting surgery for that knee and thought using conservative treatments will somehow fix his problems.

He had a good profile but man he really ended up destroying everything.
