For what it's worth Roncaglia was not actually officially signed until after the final, it was Boca management that froze him out of the squad for the final (Supposedly this pissed off Riquelme). There was essentially an agreement before that but nothing official. Roncaglia wanted to stay but he was one of the lowest paid players on the team.

And yeah, the Argentine media are a massive liability.

Thanks man.. and welcome back to 1. Sounds sarcastic but I'm being serious. I think all the rivalry crap I read online kind of made me pissed tbh. I mean, we have no reason to be acting cocky when we looked embarrassing in the final and gave away the league in the last couple weeks. Yes, we are Boca, but the cockiness I saw was unwarranted. I mess with you a lot and we can go back and forth during clasicos and league, but in all seriousness there is more to life than football.
