Great video, some brilliant skills and goals. The goal at 3.46 is ridiculous. He's out wide at the edge of the box, gets fronted up by the defender, turns him so well and comes inside and finishes from a tight angle. The video is full of quality like that.

He's one of my favourite players right now - the close control, the first touch, the dribbling, the passing, the way he glides over the pitch (like I just said Musiala does).

He's so good.

Finally a tall player Mara appreciates. Love it.

Going back to this. I know you were only joking, but I do have a bias towards shorter players with low centre of gravity as I am smaller myself. But I rate plenty taller players too.

However what I wanted to say in response to this is that Palmer is quite unusual as most tall players (> 6 foot) don't have his grace when dribbling. There's Kaka and some others, but this guy is what? 6 foot 1 or 2? And he has the close control and graceful movement of a 5 foot 6 guy. I don't know how to describe it but he plays like he has a low centre of gravity. I mention Kaka but even he took bigger touches than Palmer I think. Palmer has the close control and 'ball glued to his foot' ability of a much smaller player. Yamal (who is now tall) has it too. Musiala as well. Maybe it isn't as unusual I think lol, though these are some of the best players in the world.

The very quick turn on the half turn, jink, and then the little early-taken side foot placed finish (to bamboozle the keeper) into the corner is very Messi-like.

This guy is seriously talented.
He made the entire move look so easy

The freedom with which he plays the game is so old school. Nothing like today's meticulously micromanaged system players.
