He is the best English player but as usual people get carried away and start calling him the best player in the world.
There should be a question mark about his performances away from home. Looks very timid away and doesn't appear to want to take a game by the scruff of the neck. Think of all his memorable performances, they are all at Stamford Bridge. I can only think Wolves away where he picked up 4 assists.
To be the best in the world you have to want it game in game out. Palmer seems to let games drift him by, away from Stamford Bridge. He is great but his mentality is not ruthless enough to be the best. That besides the fact that Lamine does everything, apart from finishing, ( which will come ), better than Palmer anyway.
