Copa: FC Barcelona - Real Madrid 1-4

If Barca wants to win we keep going with what is proven. Gavi LW and 3 mids. Even if it is Roberto/Kessie/Busquets.

RM has 2-3 threats on the whole team. Vini and Benzema. Maybe Rodrygo. Shut down that left side and just make this a dirty game score a lucky goal and we are through.

If we start Gavi at CM we need Ferran at LW he is pretty good at pressing as well and far better than Fati at this moment.

Alonso is terrible against fast attackers but should be ok unless we get victimized by Benzema/Militao in the air.

I imagine Real Madrid are simply going to go all out. So logically they will create more chances than normal, but be more vulnerable throughout the match and theyll simply hope we cant take advantage of that with De Jong, Pedri, Dembele and Christensen out. Either we will lose by a couple goals and theyll go through or theyll pay the price for assuming we aren't nearly as dangerous as normal and we go through. Need to take our chances.

I definitely would take a draw but I dont think it will be a low scoring draw. I think at least 2-2.

MAdrid's XI is out:

Carvahal-Militao-Alaba-Camviga
--Modrid-Kroos-Valverde
Rodry---Benz---Vini

Many surprises and ultra-attacking XI

Rumor that it is a 4-2-3-1 with Rodrygo behind Benzema

He is starting Carvajal, and the everlasting(but not really) Kroos and Modric pairing.

This game won't even be worth watching.

That Kroos Modric midfield has been pressed off the pitch 3 times in a row now and he keeps going with it.

When Tchouameni was crucial in their win against us this season and Kroos's legs are gone vs a much more intense team.

Carvajal there again after his shockers.

One positive is Camavinga LB which will give them much more attacking presence and help them break the press too.

He is betting on Rodrygo to cause havoc between the lines.
Not too far-fetched, as he was the sub that lifted you in the league game

Hope Xavi has anticipated that

Tchouameni exists, and Nacho is a better right back than Carvajal these days.

Now, Tchouameni probably will be substituted at some point, but thats the thing, Ancelotti just wants to hold on and bring on fresh legs for the last 30 minutes.

Same old UCL-tactics, which worked largely because Benzema converted every ball that moved vaguely in his direction, and Courtois being a wall.

That left side of ours will be exploited. Alba-Alonso. Uh-oh.

Balde can't be 100%, because if this is tactical then Xavi is having yet another knockout night brain freeze.

Isn’t Balde in the starting line up anymore? According to the Barca teamsheet on the Twitter account he is
