This formation will get us battered in big matches. The warning signs were there against Granada, but we were at home and they were too impotent to do anything. You need world class players that can cover ground very quickly to play like this. We don't have those sort of players.

I think he still has this idea we can have 90% possession, commit 7 players in attack and pass the ball into the net with combinations.

This squad is mediocre for the top level and Setien will be out of a job come the summer if he doesn't become more pragmatic.

something I've been telling this forum the whole time. the players are past it, no manager can fix the issues the senior players bring. the true solution is to revamp the squad.

people acted like all you had to do is replace valverde with even an average coach and the shit would turn into gold.
