Both prefer to be RCB and Pique is still developing as a leader type CB that Bartra needs beside him.

True. Bartra is sort of similar to Pique, and Mascherano is sort of similar to Mathieu -- except Mathieu is better in the air, while Mascherano has (by miles) the better anticipation and overall game/tactical intelligence.

Not sure where you're getting your stats, but I think Iniesta has 2 CDR goals and 3 assists in the UCL.

Ideal lineup (hopefully I won't jinx it). I'd have preferred Rakitic over Rafinha, but we will see... Busqets had problems with Villareal counterattacks last game. And with both Iniesta and Rafinha so attack minded it is necessary to have more defensive DM - and I believe Masch is better in this aspect, than Busquets.

Mathieu was our best defender for some months, so dont exagerate. Masch has been excellent at dm for barca this season. No prob seeing him start. World class. Iniesta....I dont know. 0 assists and goals this season. Thats flat out terrible. Shouldnt start in my opinion.

The Don has 2 goals and 5 assists in CL and Copa. The gooseeggs are only in La Liga play. Safe to say he is a cup player this season!
