Oh yes we would. And that Cristiano missed his other chances reinforces the point. Two of his goals required no skills, and that deflected FK required a good amount of luck, nothing more.

The thing with Suarez though is that people don't claim that he is the best player ever.

In my opinion:
First goal was a poorly taking freekick as it was going into the wall and with luck was deflected by Varane. Lucky because obviously Ronaldo intended to shoot it just over the wall. Second goal, a penalty won by a dive.

I am not taking away anything from Ronaldo's third goal. It required speed and timing to reach the position where he was.
