Best midfielder around
He is probably delusional enough to think that he can still win the CL and Ballon d’Or with Juve. I pray that he goes there. Great for Barca, and pretty much the end of the rivalry with Leo.

Juventus is one of the 5 big clubs of Europe, along with Real, Barca, Man Utd and Bayern. Why would he not want to go there? I would, they would be my second choice after Barca if I were a footballer.

The winner here though would be Real Madrid, €100m for a 33 year old which they can add to the transfer kitty for Neymar. Get rid of Ronaldo before he hits a wall in performance which will happen sooner rather than later.

Ronaldo will regret leaving Madrid and Madrid will also regret letting him leave. they can bring in Neymar but he won't be able to replace the amount of goals Madrid will be lacking. i think they'll come to some sort of agreement.

at Juve he'd have it very easy in the league, CL though? i dont see them winning it. I guess it depends if Cristiano feels hes finished at the top level. same would go for a move to PSG, weaker league. moving to a league like Seri A or Ligue 1 wouldn't put him in the spotlight he craves imho.

The club has officially denied the Neymar rumors, so thats that, he isnt coming.
If CR leaves, we need to replace what he currently is, a goalscorer, not what he was, an all around great player who still scored tons, because we wont be able to find a player like he was for us up until 2014, bar Neymar(who is already ruled out).

1) Yes, Neymar would replace CR's goals, obviously not regularly beyond 30 or 40 per season, but anything up to that is certainly possible.
2) Neymar wouldn't be coming alone. He can't play a #9 and Benzema is only useful as SS for which there'd be no more need.

All in all Juve move for CR satisfies both parties. CR gets the rumored wages he wants, he gets to win trophies and has a very good chance at lifting Juve up to CL winner status, which keeps him in BDO race. Real get the money for a superstar they thought they'd have to let go for free at the end of his deal and are completely free to pursue much needed replacements.

Everybody wins.

You're massively underrating Juve.

In the last 4 years they made 2 finals and destroyed 3-1 Real at their own stadium even without Ronaldo. If they replace Khedira who is finished with a good midifielder they can realistically win the CL. They have already the best defence in the world with Atletico and Allegri who is a great coach.

A 33 year old Ronaldo is still better than 26 year old Neymar and by some distance. A lot less drama too.

I think Real would be better off keeping him.
