I get that feeling also. i'm not really that invested in the Messi-Ronaldo debate since he left Madrid but if Ronaldo managed to win a world cup as top scorer or THE player for Portugal (none of this off the pitch coaching bs) I might have to give him the GOAT of this gen.

Messi is the GOAT of this generation even if Ronaldo wins 3 more CL's and 1 world cup. Messi from 2008-2012 and 2015-2019 is an unreachable level.

Ronaldo have plenty of power and pace, to run in behind for a counter, to score an outrageous header, those type of things, but that power doesnt translate to riding of challenges with the ball.
Either he just wants a free kick(and possible yellow for defender), or his balance isnt that great.
