What about his last post on FB about news that media sells? I thought he is staying 100 percent.

Anyway, city lacks a clinical finisher, we will see is CR7 still the guy. He could be their x-factor for winning CL.

There is nothing brave in this move. It's the only place where he stands a chance of winning the CL. This move is 100% motivated by Messi's move to PSG. To be fair this is pathetic.

Maybe, but the Premier League is still a much much harder league than the Uber Eats Ligue 1. That league has been surpassed by the Portuguese league ffs.

Not to mention that PSG spends on one player what the other teams in the league spends on their whole damn team.

Of course, it depends on how well they play individually but one faces Liverpool and Chelsea while the other faces Lyon and Marseille. No comparison really.

There's every possibility he's not moving and he just wants everyone's attention for the next week.

He wants a new challenge after almost crashing Juve out of the top 4 in that dead league

didn't he stay out of that last game of the season when they were waiting for napoli to fuck up?

pretty sure he requested it as to not be associated with an eventual failure.

It's quite simple. Messi went there because PSG was the only top team that wanted him and they are the team that can seriously compete for CL. Messi and PSG couldn't care less for League 1. It's all about wining one more CL. Do you think Ronaldo cares about another EPL title? It's all about wining another CL.

Chelsea reportedly tried to get Messi as did Atletico.

CL holders and La Liga champions.

LOL

Everybody and their mother knows they could not afford Messi.
Only PSG and City could.
City bought Grealish not knowing that Messi will become available.
Hence, PSG was the only option

Come on ATM was never a serious competitor for signing him. Regarding Chelsea I sincerely doubt they were willing to pay that amount and their playing style wouldn't suit him. City move on the other hand was probably blocked by Pep as it would basically confirm he can't win CL without Messi. In addition to that he would have to organize the entire tactics around Messi. It would be a lose-lose situation for Pep. When we take all of that into a consideration PSG was the only possible (or logical) move for him.

he went there because of multiple factors:
- psg showed intent and moved in quickly
- team is full of south americans or spanish speaking personnel(spanish is on par with french in that dressing room)
- has friends there - neymar and di maria
- they offered good money
- paris is more close to his heart in terms of lifestyle and closer to his home in barcelona
- psg lets him go play for argentina whenever he wants
- city were left surprised as they got grealish and probably opted to go ahead with plans of adding kane or another pure CF

Why would Atletico not be a serious option? Rivals of Barca?

Chelsea were in for him according to reports if start adding money to it then different argument but they would have paid most likely.

Messi in a two behind Lukaku is not hard to see where he would fit if they wanted him.

Pep not wanting Messi as won with him and doesnt need him with players they have while would have to give up aspects of game such as pressing and movement off the ball.

KDB is the main man there that takes many of same positions Messi does and drifts to right.
