& to think my man pep through getting Kane & that other British chap would have been better than signing Messi.

He would have been pawning the EPL right now.

Ronaldo Is great though has to be said, his fitness his no joke & he can keep the pace with defenders that are 10 years his junior.

I don't agree. Ronaldo's general overall performances have been average to poor, but he's always going to get a chance or 2. But the surprising thing is.... his finishing has been shit this season, but he's been lucky that all his goals should have been saved, or the goalkeeping has made a mistake which has led to a tap-in for him.

I mean, he's still a great goalscorer, but you can tell his overall play has declined heavily.

Utter nonsense

Huh? The first goal against Newcastle was a tap-in from a mistake from the goalkeeper. The 2nd Newcastle goal was right at the goalkeeper; he should have saved it. The goal against Young Boys was basically another tap-in which the goalkeeper should have done a lot better. The goal today was another tap-in from a goalkeeping mistake.

Am I not right from saying that?

I think it was Newcastle third goalkeeper. Way over his head I think. Definitely big mistakes.

I don't think this one was mistake per say. His shot was very close to goal.

I don't agree. A professional Premier League goalkeeper should keep hold of it, especially when it didn't have much power on it. It wasn't as it was going in the corner originally.... it was right at the goalkeeper.

Weirdly he saved that Bruno shot earlier(game saver level). Shame this one went in.

1st goal was a rebound after shot was deflected, 2nd goal is through the legs which is completely uncharitable and biased interpretation - 3/4 of this forum gave all credit to Messi when he used to do that with Courtois and his insane aim on a strong shot.
Goal here is on a shot from 5 yards away which you'd have to be absolutely perfect to not spill

Again, nonsense
