Don't get me wrong, Ronaldo is still a great goalscorer, but I don't think he's played all that well. He's been kinda quiet, sloppy with his passes and with his touches, but he's just been in the right place. If he gets the service, then he'll score goals. But if he doesn't get the support, he won't score. He's not that kind of player anymore.

very weird that all his goals have been GK mistakes. the ball seems slippery whenever he strikes. ref should inspect his boots imo

1st goal was a rebound after shot was deflected, 2nd goal is through the legs which is completely uncharitable and biased interpretation - 3/4 of this forum gave all credit to Messi when he used to do that with Courtois and his insane aim on a strong shot.
Goal here is on a shot from 5 yards away which you'd have to be absolutely perfect to not spill

Again, nonsense

Thanks for agreeing with me that all his shots should have been saved. The fact that you think that his goal today wasn't a goalkeeping mistake shows how little you know.

Also, Messi did those types of finishes on purpose. Ronaldo is just trying to hit the target and hoping it goes in.

It doesnt matter, him being full inzaghi at this point still has the pr machine spinning goat accolades that his fanboys happily repeat whenever he scores a penaldo or tap in.

Currently it's looking more likely he will emulate his Juventus career, at least this season. United are overrated and in need of a good manager. Ronaldo will score, maybe challenge for top goalscorer as only Lukaku looks on form. But it won't be enough against good teams or CL.

Now now you don't need to making so transparent you're that much of a clown

I'm done here.
Must be hard to be a Cule these days with Ronaldo banging them in for fun and PSG getting all credit for anything Messi scores these days

I'm just saying that he's had a lot of luck with his goals this season. I'm sure that he doesn't care if he gets lucky or not. I just find it funny that people think Ronaldo is dominating in games and carrying Utd with his performances.... he isn't. His performances have been kinda average. He's just getting the support and having some luck from the goalkeepers.

Okay..... when was the last time Ronaldo scored a goal from outside the box or a from a free-kick? Messi has done that a lot in the past 3 years.

It's true Ronaldo always played the numbers game more than Messi who likes to score with high percentage.

Messi is 'unfairly' compared to Ronaldo, when he had to do a double job of playmaker and goalscorer. Ronaldo just focuses on what he does best and will be judged on that.

Messi can have games when not scoring but still more involved in the game than anyone else on the field.
