Cowards challenge. Two games running. Ronaldo put in a cowards challenge again today, this time on KDB. KDB is on the floor as Ronaldo goes in. He again gets a yellow, but only a matter of time til it is red.

Also, time to stop this "What a great leader this guy is". He's throwing a tantrum as soon as things doesn't go exactly as he wants, looks like a spoiled baby every other game this days.

Him cheerleading from sideline in Euro Cup final seriously gives me crinche watching it. You just know he's aware of camera's just like Puig a lot of time.

I will say his mid-game dressing room speeches are great and definitely helps raise team morale. That is something I do hold against Messi and would be easy for him to do but he doesn't. Or he does...there is a video but it is very lackluster and he gives the impression he doesn't stand behind the things he says himself. Messi has all the respect of the team, he should feel comfortable screaming like a madman in dressing room. Instead he just observes Alba crying and throws in a few "are you okay?" with voice barely audible.

I think he is a better leader than Messi, but that does not automatically make him a great leader. Seems like most Madrid players that played with him are happy they got rid of him when he left and same with Juve.

Before the Copa America 2021, I would have agreed with you that CR7 is a better leader than Messi.

But now, Messi finally became the leader that Argentina needed and a lot of people in Argentina have praised his leadership during the tournament.

Even made one of his biggest critics, Liberman, like the type of character Messi currently showed for the team before the NT even won the tournament.

Good character development for him and hopefully this continues in the WC.

Sounds like bull to me and just spinning narration in whatever way works. If Messi had won the WC he would have been dubbed a great leader by Argentinians then as well.
Typical emotional fans just looking to put either blame on someone or praise a single person. Argentinians are biased in that they really want to consider Messi heir to Maradona as to have 2 of all time greatest of the game hail from their own country. Latin Americans in general enjoy romanticizing about lot of stuff.

Unless you have some cool videos of Messi instructing and motivating players. Always welcome to seeing those.

I liked the way he consoled De Paul after his penalty miss

Owh yeah the Baila ahora is legendary. Watched it zillion of times and send it to Colombians. But doesn't prove anything in regards of leadership, he just showing his emotions.

I well check the first one thanks.

For that one, the point I wanted to make was the De Paul section, not the Baila Ahora.

Edit: Forgot to add this. Another one, if you're interested. It's an hour long but you can get the same sentiment starting from minute 3, how the Argentinians are liking this character more
