Aye so bad he was voted best player in Italy twice and scored over 100 goals in 3 seasons.

Total Flop...

Messi must have been a total flop at Barca past couple seasons as they got worse despite his goals as well.

It's Ronaldo. His name alone makes it easier to win such an award.
Also during his time there Serie A had the dumbest penalty rule ever, both him and Immobile got like 18 penalties each season. Immobile outscoring him in 2020 too... Those goals aren't that spectacular.

Ronaldo was not good. They paid 100m for him and got significantly worse as a team. Sure, he was not terrible, but he certainly did not succeed.

Nah. Ronaldo went there and did what they bought him for. Scored the goals and kept up his side of the bargain.

Nowhere near a flop and was best player in Italy across his three years.

Trying too hard.

No he wasnt. A lot of juventus fans couldnt wait for him to leave, ruined gameplay, always shooting from everywhere but only scoring tap ins and penalties. Player of the year award was a joke, a total pr stunt by serie a to gain whatever the fuck they intended. He was good but far from best

Why do people bring this up, seeing as they are still mediocre without him?

Its completely absurd to blame all of the teams problems on a single player.

It's one thing being shit and another one being shit without the hope to get better. I don't think Juve could have gotten Locatelli and Vlahovic with him in the team.

How United fans turned on him says it all as well.

You should have watched juventus and you'd know. Friend of mine is a juve fan so we watched plenty of serie a games. He was abysmal most of the times, losing balls, shooting from 30m left and right, not giving balls to teammates in better position. Until he scored, which he pretty much delivered.

You ignored my point.

If he destroyed their entire gameplay, why aren't they flying now?

0 trophies under Ole despite spending millions.

And People are saying they are on the up for hitting a purple patch of form each season.

Same old United

OK fine think what you will about their trends, at least they were 2nd in premiership for 2 seasons, while being among the youngest teams in the league.
Loosing to Villareal doesn't change that.
