Only need to look at Messi?s assists. He is playing far from goal having to feed Mbappe and Neymar. He isn?t the one being fed like Ronaldo at United. Where the fuck was Ronaldo in the CL when it mattered? Where was he in the Euros qualifiers? Or in the big PL games which decided the top 4?

CR7's production has been better than Messi's in 21/22, but these Messi - CR7 debates in 2022 are an exercise in futility.

They're long past their peaks and I preferred Messi's while others can prefer CR7's. Messi always the better player for me, so I don't like the mood swings based on whether CR7 scores a hat-trick or has a bunch of no-shows in PL/CL.
