The guy only scores when they put out the red carpet for him these days. Comical defence and GK blunders.

If he faces a half decent side or the opponents just don't act stupid he is nowhere to be seen.

Do you people even read the nonsense you write? Easy goals? red carpet? WTF are you even talking about?

He stepped up and scored a crucial hat-trick when his team needed it most, simple as. Get over it.

How come you weren't here acting as his lawyer with this same energy/ferocity after the crucial no-shows v AM (both legs), Pool, Man City, Chelsea and so forth (some of those games he was even dropped for).

Get over it.

GET OVER WHAT? lol he played like crap in those games, he played great in other decisive games like this one and Spurs. What's hard to get?

Just pointing out that his fans always come out of the woodworks after a good game, yet nowhere to be found after his more frequent no-shows this season.

I like the same energy for both.

Norwich took lessons from Spurs on how to let CR score. Give him lots of space, don't mark him tightly, maybe even go the extra length and act stupidly.

Both he and Man Utd were in the wrong over this transfer, blinded by nostalgia. If City really wanted him, he should have went there.
