Arsenal is hardly the standard of City, Pool, and even Chelsea.

He's been impressive lately but as usual, the revisionism kicks in with the "scored against ANOTHER big team". He's been more poor than good versus good opposition as a whole this season.

Arsenal is still a big team though.

I didn't write a world class team or anything.

Plus this is a big game in the context of top 4 race.

Now you're just having a meltdown mate.

You should be thanking me to be honest. At least now you don't have to pretend to be a Liverpool fan. I can imagine all that act would be tiring to put up with and remember all the time.

I'd say having the energy to dig up random accounts in another forum is a meltdown. Shows your desperation.

You're clearly thick as a plank because you didn't even take a minute to think that a poster has no reason to stan for Liverpool if he doesn't support that club.

Go on, tell us, what are the advantages of pretending to be a Liverpool fan here? 😂

One of my most trusted sources rang me up and told me Laporta has agreed a deal in principle with Cristiano Ronaldo

Take it with a handful of salt at this point but it's interesting he would tell me this

Had a pretty good game tbh. Scored one and made a few good passes to Elanga and one to Dalot in the second half.

more than that playing in serie A

by the way with messi unable to even shot on target these days I doubt he'll leave United because of CL missed, his record still pretty much safe and there isn't a real alternative.

His egomania (wanting to prove he was the driving reason RM was winning those CLs) proved to be his undoing. He was the best player in those RM teams, without doubt, and was a big reason for their success, but not the driving reason. Even without him and Ramos, the same old core is in back to back CL semis.

He probably would have at least 1 more CL if he stuck with RM last 4 seasons.

He probably never thought he would miss the quality of teammates he had at Juventus.

Is there much difference between United and Juventus this or last season though? The best teams in Italy aren't as good as the best in EPL, so they look less shambolic by comparison, they still went out to Porto and Villarreal last two times, hardly great quality either.

No player has scored as many goals between the ages of 33 and 37.

He still has the most CL wins and the CL records.

After 33, he left and joined a new league. Then he moved to the toughest league in the world at 37. He constantly banged them in throughout.

Just shows his great adaptability if anything.

Don't see much weong with his decision. Don't think Real would win any of the CLs even if he stayed. Would win 2 or 3 more La Ligas but he won in Italy so its OK.

Also got some records like international goals in the last few years. Decent career sunset playing at the highest level imo.

Look at where United is in the standings and tell me it's not a mistake.. Juventus almost crashed out of CL last season too.

Both were terrible decisions for him. Even though he has nice stats to show for it..

Imo Juventus weren't ever winning the CL with or without him.

United weren't winning the league with or without him.

In the last few years the number of choices he had was low too.

Like I said, individually think its a decent career sunset. No pathbreaking trophies won but still great individually.
