Let's agree that he is in fantastic shape but I never want to hear the excuse that he is old when he plays shit again.

He is the age what he is, people have been waiting for Ronaldo to get old for a long time to dismiss his talents and as a means of judgement for what he's been like all his career, but guess what, he's still doing the business.

Looking back at all all-time greats, none have been as good as Ronaldo aged 35, infact many all-time greats have had a short battery life at the very top, what Messi and Ronaldo have done in how they have they have dominated world football for over a decade as never been seen before in football, but one thing i am fairly certain of is Messi won't be as good as Ronaldo aged 35, no matter if people think Messi as been the greater of the 2 throughout their career.

Aged 35 I think there is a good chance Messi will be retired or playing in Argentina, soon to be 35 Ronaldo still has ambitions in winning the Ballon d'Or again, whether he does or not is a different story, but he still has that drive and he won't be far off from achieving it even if he doesn't.

I agree that he is in some of the best condition I have ever seen a footballer his age be in. I would go as far as to say that he looks no different than 3 years ago when he was winning the CL with Real. That is both a compliment and a detriment to him though because why has his output tailed off if it isn't due to age. For me it exposes a few things about him :

1) He is incredibly reliant on teammates since he got more than double the chances per game at Real.

2) His finishing is not as good as his fans want us to believe. In fact it makes me wonder how someone who for me Is a better finisher, like Lewandowski, would have fared given the same opportunities as Ronaldo.

You say he is still doing the business but I would argue there is nothing special about his performances or output while he has been at Juve, even given his age. Quags played for a much weaker team, had much less chances and is older and he scored more. Being the main striker at Juve is one of the easiest jobs in football no matter what age you are. Ask Higuan, ask Tevez.

You say you guarantee he will be a better 35 year old than Messi. This is pure speculation and an irrelevant stick to beat Messi with , but he has been beaten with irrelevant sticks from Ronaldo fans from day 1.

I can assure you I'm not crying, the only one getting upset here is you. Why was the point of mentioning such an irrelevant assumption as who would be better aged 35 then? And it is an assumption not a fact as you claim. Football is not 100% about who has the better physique I'm afraid.

Messi's been better at 32 than CR7 was at 32. What makes you think he won't be better at 34/35?

And Maldini was regularly playing in CL finals in 03, 05, and 07 at 35, 37, and 39 ages respectively. Respect the tradition and will of other all time greats. You'd be able to see this if you weren't busy cartwheeling.

Other than last 24 hours i barely speak about Ronaldo, so imagining things once again.

I keep out of the Messi thread, i keep out of the Barcelona threads, other than the last 24 hours I've not even posted in the Ronaldo thread and neither as Chester Copperpot. I have an interest in the Premier League section and 'other players' section, namely young upcoming talent and that is where i spend most of my time on here, do a search on my posts or just carry on imagining things and think what you want to believe, i couldn't give a shit what you think to be honest.
