It was a penalty. When you're running for goal and have ball at your feet it doesn't take much to fall if you have a defender behind you to throw you off your balance.

I do like Mascherano and the grit he brings to our game. He can have a flawless game and then do something like that or the blunder vs. Milan. Hope Tata sees the light.
